As soon as a couple of coin flips are made and the official 2012 NFL draft order is set, the Indianapolis Colts can negotiate with the top overall pick. As all of you know, Stanford QB Andrew Luck will be taken by the Colts and could technically negotiate, and agree to, a contract as early as Friday, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told ProFootballTalk.

That would mean that Luck and Peyton Manning could technically be sort of teammates before the Colts likely release Manning. Manning is due a $28 million roster bonus by March 8 and things could get awkward quickly in Indy.
